Unwanted hair can be inconvenient, irritating or embarrassing. Laser hair removal is a permanent solution that’s fast, safe and uses the latest technology so you can look and feel your best.
No more painful waxing appointments, no more cringing as you pluck those unsightly hairs and no more nicks and razor burns on your legs. You can enjoy permanent hair removal – saving you time and money.
Laser permanent hair reduction is an innovative, reliable and safe technique for removing unwanted hair from your body. It is a proven, effective and permanent hair reduction treatment based on the principle of selective photo-thermolysis (heating with light), which stops hair follicles from growing hair without damaging the skin.
We use a medical grade laser, treatments are performed by the highest qualified staff in the industry, so you can be confident in your treatment results.
Passing safely through the skin's dermal layers, the laser light is attracted to the pigment at the hair root where heat from the laser is absorbed to destroy the stem cells on the hair follicle's base.
Due to the fact that hair growth takes place in cycles, a course of sessions is required to treat each area, as it's impossible to capture and destroy every follicle in just a single treatment.
At AD LASER CLINIC we use the latest technology in laser equipment with -5 degrees cooling system to make the hair removal treatment painless and prevent burning while allowing the safe use of higher intensity.
Patients typically see results in 4-6 treatments, though this will vary based on skin tone, hair colour and other factors. Your consultant will talk to you about variables that may affect your individual results.
An ideal candidate usually requires 6-8 treatments 4-10 weeks apart to achieve approximately 70-80% hair reduction.
Facial areas are slower to respond, so can easily take 10-15 treatments.
Coarser, darker hair usually respond faster. BLONDE, GREY AND FAIR HAIR CANNOT BE TREATED.
As the hair shaft is the treatment target, it is important to stop all waxing, sugaring or plucking, or using hair minimising creams/deodorants for approximately eight weeks prior to your laser treatment. Removing the hair shafts prior to treatment means there will be no target for the laser. YOU MUST SHAVE THE HAIR, HAIR NEEDS TO BE SHAVED BEFORE TREATMENT
Before and after treatment information sheet will be provided on your consultation/patch test day and with every single treatment.
